CSRP Update Wednesday, May 13, 2009
Squirrel #6, "Horace", was detained briefly this afternoon , then transported to the Near Island Squirrel Sanctuary (NISS) at 1600 hours. Activity is now minimal, but members of the Cliffside Squirrel Relocation Project (CSRP) remain vigilant. No federal stimulus funds have been dedicated to this project, but participants remain hopeful that Alaska governor Sarah Palin will release funds for project infrastructure.
